Her roles on Guiding Light as Marina Cooper and Dawson's Creek as Marcy Bender are her most famous roles. The actress was featured in two episodes on Showtime's Weeds, starring Mary Louise Parker. Her most well-known role was being Judy Kramer on Fox's 2005 Point Pleasant series and Marcy in Dawson's Creek. She portrayed Marina Cooper for three years in Guiding Light and Guiding Light. It was a performance which won her a Soap Opera Digest Award nomination for the best newcomer. Dollar appeared as Cindy Thomas from 2007 until 2008 in the ABC soap opera Women's Murder Club. Dollar also starred in Happy Valley, a pilot for NBC in 2012. The show wasn't taken on.
