The actress was featured in two episodes of the Showtime series Weeds starring Mary Louise Parker. The show was a hit for her portraying Judy Kramer on Fox's 2005 Point Pleasant series and Marcy in Dawson's Creek. The actress played Marina Cooper for three years in Guiding Light, a role which won her a 2003 SOPOD Award nomination for Outstanding Newcomer. From 2007 until 2008 Dollar was a character on Cindy Thomas on the ABC show Women's Murder Club. Dollar was a part of NBC's 2012 Pilot Happy Valley but it was not picked-up.
