
Josie Davis was born in Hollywood, California. She is an actor and a writer. Davis was a professional since the age of three when she was featured in commercials on television. When she was a young toddler, she was made a star on the show Charles In Charge. The show ranked number one in syndication. Josie was nominated three times and was awarded the prestigious Young In Film Award for playing Sarah Powell. Davis, as an adult who has appeared in a variety of TV films and has won Lifetime Movie Network two awards for his performance. Davis got the opportunity to enroll in the USC's Writing Program. Then, she decided to pursue acting and was a student of Paul E Richards, who died in 1998, for more than 20 years. When she was 24, Davis auditioned for Hollywood heavyweights, Shelley Winters, Mark Rydell and Martin Landau. After just one audition, Davis was accepted into the famed Actors Studio as a member with privileges to work, and later was elevated to a Lifetime Membership just after her second invitation to audition. Davis was among the only two performers accepted during that year's auditions from over 1,000 applicants.
